Kingman Ind - Mrs. Marcie Allen, 70, of Kingman Rt. 1 died at 5:40 p.m. Friday March 29, 1974 at Culver Hospital. She had been a patient three weeks. Born May 14, 1903 in Parke County, she was the daughter of Upton Larue & Clara Ingram Floyd. She was married March 4, 1923 to Jesse Allen, who survives. Mrs. Allen was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Leon of Kingman Rt 1; 3 brothers, Roy of Bloomingdale Rt 1; Ray Floyd of Bloomingdale Rt 2 and Omar Floyd of Newtown; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Sowers of Indianapolis; and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and one sister. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-0 Sunday at the Woodrow Funeral Home. Services will be there at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. George Souza officiated. Burial in Wolf Creek Cemetery near Wallace. - kbz

  Born May 14, 1903 in Parke County, she was the daughter of Upton Larue and Clara Ingram Floyd. She was married March 4, 1923 to Jesse Allen, who survives.
  Mrs. Allen was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.
